This (acupuncture treatment) was better than the best massage I ever had! R.P., December 2018
Stellar acupuncturist - thoroughly knowledgeable and an excellent listener. Helped me through my pregnancy and was a lifesaver during the final weeks when I went overdue. Cannot say enough positive things about her work and practice. N.R., April 2017
I have zero pain, which is surprising to me (after acupuncture to treat a first-degree burn). Thanks for the magic! B.R., May, 2016
Dr. Kurosu is outstanding in her approach and her knowledge base. I seek out providers who approach healing as an art, Dr. Kurosu is one of the best I have found. She combines superior knowledge with care and compassion. I have seen her for both acute illnesses and chronic problems. She delivers consistently. I always leave feeling filled up and peaceful after her treatments. If you are looking for an acupuncturist, you just found one of the best ones on island. Enjoy!
After a couple of months of physical therapy sessions for a compression spinal fracture, I still experienced pain and stiffness. I then saw Dr. Kurosu who then treated me with acupuncture. Since I didn't have acupuncture treatments before, I wasn't sure if acupuncture could help me but after about six treatments, I felt a significant improvement to my range of motion. After a few more weeks, I noticed pain relief lasting longer between sessions. I asked Dr. Kurosu a lot of questions about acupuncture and the procedures and she explained it well which was reassuring. Her office environment is zen-like, very calming. I went in as a skeptic and am now a believer of acupuncture. For those who are reluctant because of the thought of having needle insertions, there is no pain at all. I highly recommend Dr. Kurosu.
This was my very first acupuncture, and it was an incredible experience. Dr. Kurosu immediately made me feel at home from the moment I walked through the door. Her office is exceptionally clean and beautifully, well decorated with modern decor . . . a very relaxing environment. After obtaining my health history, she began the acupuncture treatment for my sore neck and shoulder. She has a soft touch and I barely knew the needles were going in. She was very good at explaining the process and what to expect. I was so relaxed during the treatment that I nearly fell asleep! By the time I walked out the door, my neck and shoulder pain were greatly reduced, and now I'm hooked on the idea of acupuncture. I highly recommend Dr. Kurosu.
Saw Dr. Kurosu earlier this summer for epigastric discomfort. She did an acupuncture treatment and prescribed some herbs which helped quite a bit. She also recommended I follow up with my family physician when the discomfort did not clear up as quickly as it should've. It turned out I had gastritis which has since resolved. Dr. Kurosu has a medical background which is why I felt I was in excellent care with her knowledge of both eastern and western medicine. She is very caring and professional and was able to explain to me what and why I needed to rule out certain things through medical testing. I am grateful she was involved in my care during that ordeal. I went back to her today for an acupuncture treatment for a stiff neck from traveling last week and I feel so much better! She is amazing!!!
